Artwork #100 (YAYAYAY): Spodr

Date: October 17th, 2024

Comment: Ah yes, my 100th artwork in this section of my website:

A silly, cartoony spider. Seems about right for an occasion like this.

A cutesy cartoon spider, hanging from spider silk.

---

Artwork #99: Quoth the Raven Something Something

Date: October 17th, 2024

Comment: Here's a character that's been in my head for a few years,

one that I never straight-up drew until now. Hopefully, I'll make a

reference sheet for him before the end of the year.

I also might make a sprite-art section for this website, since there

are some sprite artworks that I forgot to put in this section,

and it might be a good idea to put them in their own unique part of the site.

A short, slightly pudgy anthro raven.

---

Artwork #98: Lil' Catty Creature

Date: October 12th, 2024

Comment: I struggled to draw a regular, non-humanoid cat (again, I

really have to use reference pictures while drawing more often),

so I just made them this cat-vase hybrid of sorts. Also, two drawings

with the word "Lil'" in it in the same month.

A black cat-vase hybrid.

---

Artwork #97: Indy's a Ghost Again

Date: October 5th, 2024

Comment: For context: I gave Indy this ability to turn into a ghost

(or maybe it was an involuntary thing) back in Halloween of 2021.

It's not canon anymore, but I wanted to draw something that called back

to that idea. I'm quite proud of this one; I should really get into the

habit of doing gesture sketches for my drawings, since a simple line of

action for this helped me make Indy look pretty neat.

The confused ghost of an anthro dog.

---

Artwork #96: Lil' Ghostie

Date: October 1st, 2024

Comment: I like little bedsheet specters, hehehe.

A small, cute-looking, bedsheet-style ghost.

---

Artwork #95: Yippee Ki Yayayay!

Date: October 1st, 2024

Comment: Something I made because I was happy about something.

Renormalize using "yippee ki yay" when you're happy, please.

A comically happy anthro skunk-dog hybrid.

---

Artwork #94: Drawing from Imagination Test

Date: September 29th, 2024

Comment: Hm, I reeeally should use references more often.

I don't know why I forget to, especially when it helps me not

stress out over drawing things properly.

An anthropomorphic wasp holding a wine glass and cigarette.

---

Artwork #93: No Blit!!!

Date: September 20th, 2024

Comment: Holding it in doesn't do anything!

Credits to @LOBOTOLOID on Twitter for the original artwork.

An anthro goat with puffed-up cheeks, holding a cannabis blunt.

---

Artwork #92: 9 Years of Thundersnail

Date: September 15th, 2024

Comment: Oh hey, it's Chara's favorite anniversary! I figured that

I'd also have them taking a bite out of their favorite kind of cake.

Yes, I know that I drew the hair weirdly, but it was hard to translate

the sprite's hair style into a higher-resolution drawing.

Isn't it funny how this is the 92nd artwork in this section, though?

An artwork of Chara from Undertale beside a chocolate cake.

---

Artwork #91: 23 Years Since Then

Date: September 13th, 2024

Comment: I've made it a tradition to make an artwork commemorating

everyone who was hurt in the September 11th attacks whenever

the date comes around. I actually struggled to make this one

unique from the ones that I've made in the past, but I think

that I did alright. I just hope that everyone who got affected

by those attacks are doing okay.

An artwork made in remembrance of the September 11th attacks.

---

Artwork #90: Slibun!

Date: September 6th, 2024

And here's the first drawing I made after my laptop

got repaired: A Slibun with a cute little bowler hat!

A slime-bunny hyrbid wearing a bowlder hat.

---

Artwork #89: Slibun Sketch

Date: September 5th, 2024

Comment: Just a cute little bunny-slime that I

sketched the day before my laptop finally got fixed.

A traditional drawing of a slime-bunny hybrid.

---

Artwork #88: Proko Pear Sketch

Date: September 1st, 2024

Comment: A practice artwork that I made while

learning how to draw better from Proko.

If you can guess which lesson I was doing,

then you receive an imaginary cookie.

A practice sketch of a pear.

---

Artwork #87: YouTube Thumbnail Doodle...

Date: August 21st, 2024

Comment: I made this to make fun of some common

tropes I've seen with YouTube thumbnails and titles

lately, namely with commentary channels.

A doodle of a YouTube thumbnail and title.

---

Artwork #86: Nasty Toriel

Date: August 21st, 2024

Comment: I was planning on making a more complete

artwork, but I didn't wanna bother fixing the

mistakes, soo... Enjoy weird Tori, I guess!

An anthropomorphic goat with an odd, distressed face.

---

Artwork #85: Bear Food Critic Sketch

Date: August 17th, 2024

Comment: A doodle I made of a character

that I thought up in my head.

A well-dressed anthropomorphic bear in glasses.

---

Artwork #84: Theater!

Date: August 14th, 2024

Comment: I mean, it vaguely looks like a theater, right..?

A sketch of a vaguely theater-looking structure.

---

Artwork #83: 3-Point Perspective Test

Date: August 14th, 2024

Comment: Just a weird 3-point perspective test,

as the title implies.

A three-point perspective practice sketch.

---

Artwork #82: Stubborn Perspective Practice

Date: August 14th, 2024

Comment: I called this one "stubborn" because the photo

on my phone wouldn't send to my computer.

A one-point perspective practice sketch.

---

Artwork #81: Shape Tests

Date: August 14th, 2024

Comment: Some more perspective tests are in here, too.

I really hope to learn how to properly do those circle

guidelines that wrap around to the back of it.

Pratice sketches for shapes and perspective.

---

Artwork #80.5: Circles (Shaded Version)

Date: August 11th, 2024

Comment: The same artwork, but with some shading as practice for that.

A drawing of numerous shaded circles.

Artwork #80: Circles (Unshaded Version)

Date: August 11th, 2024

Comment: Some circles I drew to practice my line quality, I think.

A drawing of numerous circles.

---

Artwork #79: Mark!

Date: August 11th, 2024

Comment: Another perspective test, starring another cubic market.

A sketch of a cubic store.

Artwork #78: Mart and Other Mart

Date: August 11th, 2024

Comment: A one-point perspective test I did involving some cubes,

which I turned into stores for fun.

A sketch of two cubic stores.

---

Artwork #77: Mushroom Animal Thing

Date: August 10th, 2024

Comment: I recall thinking this creature up in biology class upon learning

about fungi a year back. Their name was inspired by something involving mushrooms,

but I can't remember what it was.

An anthro cat with a mushroom cap on their head.

---

Artwork #76: Halloweeny Feline in August?!

Date: August 4th, 2024

Comment :I drew this after I came home from vacation; it was based on a

weirdly creepy dream I had involving some anthro cat in a platformer game.

A sinister anthropomorphic cat in stitches.

---

Artwork #75: Gesture Doodles

Date: July 31st, 2024

Comment: I heard that doing simple drawings depicting the flow and curves

of a humanoid's body can help with gestures, though I'm not sure if I really

figured it all out when I did this.

Various simple gesture drawings.

---

Artwork #74: Count Chocula Sketch

Date: July 31st, 2024

Comment: A family member of mine asked me to do a sketch of the greatest

count of all time after seeing my Quisp sketch, so I did just that.

I wish I could've made his teeth visible, but his nose got in the way.

A silly-looking vampire.

---

Artwork #73: Quisp Sketch

Date: July 29th, 2024

Comment: So, I went on vacation around this time, and my laptop broke,

meaning that I'd have to rely on paper sketches for the time being.

I was kinda fixated on these commercials for the Quaker cereal brands Quisp and Quake,

and I particularly loved the character of Quisp specifically, so I doodled this.

A happy little alien, doing the peace hand sign.

---

Artwork #72.5: Willow Stare (Alt Colors)

Date: July 18th, 2024

Comment: I made this alt with some wacky colors, too.

An anthro ferret staring at you.

Artwork #72: Willow Stare

Date: July 18th, 2024

Comment: Made this goofy meme picture of the funny ferret lady. I know that it's not exactly of high caliber,

what with her lack of shading and a full body, but I've been demotivated with art recently,

and this was all that I could muster.

An anthro ferret staring at you.

---

Artwork #71: Anatomy Practice 3

Date: July 12th, 2024

Comment: I feel like I would learn more about how to draw anatomy if I drew the practice sketch on a different page,

instead of just tracing over the picture.

A sketch, using a real life pose as a reference.

---

Artwork #70: Rusky Concept Art

Date: July 11th, 2024

Comment: So, you know that face for a raccoon character named "Rusky" that I sketched up in my Willow Sketches pic?

Well, I made some concept art of him to base a future reference sheet on. He's a conman who tries to sell people

blatantly faulty products. Also, his name's a mix of "rusty" and "risky;" his name isn't supposed to be that one

term for Russians, which I forgot about while naming him, lol

A concept sketch for an anthro raccoon conman.

---

Artwork #69 (nice): Human Moment

Date: July 6th, 2024

Comment: A more polished artwork to practice my one-point perspective skills.

I didn't know how to do the shadows, though. Don't ask why it's called that, it's an inside joke. >:)

Multiple squares and cylinders in a rocky area.

---

Artwork #68: Perspective Test

Date: July 5th, 2024

Comment: I figured that I should learn how to draw in perspective to make more dynamic art, so here are some funny shapes.

I just hope I can learn to draw figures in perspective soon.

Some sketches of various shapes.

---

Artwork #67: Anatomy Practice 2

Date: July 5th, 2024

Comment: Another anatomy reference test. I'm kinda worried that I'm not actually learning how to draw human anatomy, though.

I'll make some more sketches later on, but I have some other stuff to do.

A sketch, using a real life pose as a reference.

---

Artwork #66: Anatomy Practice 1

Date: July 4th, 2024

Comment: I realized that I haven't really done any anatomy reference stuff, so I made some practice sketches.

I dunno where the thigh ends and the foreleg begins, though.

A sketch, using a real life pose as a reference.

---

Artwork #65: I'm Old

Date: July 2nd, 2024

Comment: After noticing that my IndyVids account has been around for over 3 years at this point,

I felt the need to make a picture that represents my feelings in a totally-not-exaggerated way.

An elderly, anthropomorphic dog.

---

Artwork #64 (WAHOO): Tails and the Dumbots

Date: June 27th, 2024

Comment: I was in the mood to make a little Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog fanartwork, featuring Tails,

and the two greatest characters in all of fiction: Scratch and Grounder! I wish I didn't make Tails look so chubby though,

he's supposed to be thinner.

Two robots standing behind an annoyed anthropomorphic fox.

---

Artwork #63: Willow Reference Sheet

Date: June 20th, 2024

Comment: And I finished the reference sheet for Willow! I hope that she looks good, especially since I tried to get a bit more experimental

with her design compared to my other chraracters, giving her a more oblate head shape to try and avoid Same Face Syndrome.

I'm gonna try to make a comic page today, so get ready to see my Comics section have an actual comic in it!

A reference sheet for a grumpy, anthropomorphic ferret woman.

---

Artwork #62: Willow Sketches

Date: June 5th, 2024

Comment: So, I had this anthro ferret character, named Willow, back around 2021-2022, but I haven't really drawn her that much.

So, I decided to sketch out a redesign for her, change her gender (she was a boy before), an I plan on making a reference sheet for not only her,

but all the other characters that I have in my head, but haven't fully drawn yet. Kinda funny how I named this "Willow Sketches"

when there are a buncha other character sketches, including for a bat character that I have drawn before, though.

A series of sketches for various anthropomorphic animal characters.

---

Artwork #61: Buttercup

Date: May 14th, 2024

Comment: I planned on making an artwork about Asgore's buttercup poisoning thing in Undertale, and only now have I finished it.

This is probably one of my more out-there artworks style-wise, but I think I did a good job.

An anthro goat king, with a pained expression and a flower inside his body.

---

Artwork #60: Surrivulet

Date: April 27th, 2024

Comment: Some picture of Rivulet in an ENA-esque style. Dunno why polygonal faces remind me of Joel G's ENA, but hey.

I totally didn't ditch the legs because I didn't wanna deal with drawing with them! No, not at all!

It was a stylistic choice for his design! Yeah... Obviously.

A strange aquatic creature in an ocean-like area, wearing a mask.

---

Artwork #59: Miss Mary's House of Weird

Date: March 31st, 2024

Comment: An artwork I made using the same pixel aspect ratio as the Nintendo DS. Kinda wanted to make it look like a title screen.

An abstract drawing of a grinning woman.

---

Artwork #58: Little Indy

Date: March 31st, 2024

Comment: Just a little 16x16 sprite of Indy that I made in Aseprite. I like how little colors I managed to use for it, hehe.

A pixelated sprite of an anthropomorphic dog's face.

---

Artwork #57: Dintun Monsters OC Meme

Date: March 29th, 2024

Comment: I'm not sure how much I like this. I think the designs are interesting, and some of the posing's neat, but I feel like I've made a lot of mistakes with

drawing this. But hey, I suppose making some art for Dintun's new design is nice.

Artworks of an anthropomorphic skunk with various monster designs.

---

Artwork #56: Wilda the Rose

Date: March 22nd, 2024

Comment: Some concept art for a character idea I had for some Undertale AU, where Toriel is Flowey, and she's a wild rose instead of a golden flower.

I imagine that her goal would be to protect Frisk at all costs, to an obsessive, murderous degree, basically being a warped version of her protective nature

in the original game. I definitely liked going at it with her expressions and all that, and I tried to make her name more of a pun than an unorignal name,

to reflect her punny side.

Various sketches of a sentient wild rose with a face.

---

Artwork #55: Weird RPG Idea

Date: March 21st, 2024

Comment: Some idea I had for a theoretical RPG after, I kid you not, goofing around with a calculator and thinking about how your HP goes up by 4 every time you gain

LOVE in Undertale. The whole idea is that you'd have 6 maxiumum hit points at the start, and you'd gain 3 more max hit points every time you would level up,

until you reached the level cap, which is 6. After defeating a major boss in the game, your level cap would increase to the next multiple of 6 (12, 18, 24, etc.),

and the max HP that you would gain per level would increase by one, with the cycle repeating. I feel like this could exist to discourage grinding to one-shot later

enemies and bosses, as you could only get so much stronger in any part of the story. Of course, the EXP system would have to be paced properly, with level-ups being

a rare occurance, so that it doesn't get frustrating for the player to constantly hit a roadblock mid-way through the section of the game.

The actual numbers for the HP and level caps don't have to be this, though. I just like smaller numbers in RPGs, since it makes even small differences in stats feel

pretty big. It's also easier for me to read, too, though I don't mind higher stat numbers.

A sketch visually explaining an idea for an RPG, with text at the top.

---

Artwork #54: Scuggy

Date: February 22nd, 2024

Comment: And now that I'm finished with my birthday animation, I can finally work on some normal artworks before continuing my work on the channel trailer.

I'm not super proud of this one, due to the legs looking weird, due to me getting lazy and duplicating the legs during the sketch phase,

as well as the background being pretty lazy too, due to me losing motivaion after drawing, coloring, and shading the Monk.

But hey, it's refreshing to draw a different body style and a more dynamic pose, so that's nice. Also, more soft shading! :D

Also, credits to Joar Jakobsson and VideoCult for the Monk, who is a character from Rain World.

A nervous looking slug-cat hybrid in an abstract forest.

---

Artwork #53: Dintun/Scenty Reference Sheet

Date: January 5th, 2023

Comment: And here's the first artwork of 2024: A ref sheet of Dintun, also known as Scenty! Yes, I know that naming a skunk after a term for smells is corny,

but I have a lot of attatchment to the name, and I really want to find a way to justify the old name's existence in-universe. I also redesigned him pretty heavily,

changing up his body type, body coloring, and clothing coloring, because I want to give each of my characters a unique look to them, and I was worried that him

being a deep blue would make him too similar to Indy. Anyways uhmmm, bugs. Skunks eat grasshoppers, so I figured that Dintun would like them.

A reference sheet for a tall and bulky anthropomorphic skunk, with info beside him.

---

Artwork #52: Childhood Friends

Date: December 31st, 2023

Comment: And here it is, the last artwork of 2023!! I decided to make it about Indy and Blit, who were friends since they were little kids. (Goat pun?)

This feels quite experimental compared to my other art pieces, as I used a more airbrush-y brush for the shading, much like the Overlord one I did 4 months ago,

had most of the coloring for the characters be in shadow, and drawing two kids interacting with one another in the artwork, rather than just one adult standing there.

I do wish I drew the legs better, since they don't seem to be angled right, and it ends up making one leg look bigger than the other,

but I am glad that I took some risks with this artwork overall, and it's really motivating me to improve even more in 2024.

A young anthropomorphic goat and dog holding hands, with a cloudy sunset facing behind them.

---

Artwork #51: Blibleat

Date: December 26th, 2023

Comment: Anyone else find it funny how I made this artwork,

which references an expression SpongeBob made in a Christmas episode, a day after Christmas?

...just me? ...ok. :(((

An anthropomorphic goat with a comically sad face, in front of a background of broken hearts.

---
